The free tier is a real product — no time limit, no nag, no account. And if a subscription ever ends, your notes and your history are still yours.
Founding price ($39) is grandfathered permanently for early buyers before standard list price ($99) takes effect. A subscription and a one-off purchase unlock the same Pro, on every platform, and the one-off verifies offline for good. Education pricing is 40% off every option: $23.40 once ($59.40 after the founding price), $3.59 a month or $29.40 a year, institutional verification required.
Reassignable seats, one invoice, same one-time-and-perpetual terms as an individual licence — a team is a quantity, not a different product.
Reassign a seat any time. Team-seat licences last 90 days and renew automatically while the seat is assigned. A reclaimed seat is not renewed, so it stops working on the previous device within 90 days — not instantly, because Tessamark verifies licences offline, which is why it works with no internet and no login.
off Tessamark Pro, whichever way you buy it: once while the founding price lasts ( after), a month, or a year. A subscription keeps the discount on every renewal. Same Pro, same everything: it is not a cut-down version.
Not a recognised education domain? Send it anyway. Plenty of real institutions do not use one, so anything we do not recognise goes to a person rather than being turned down.
Version history and restore are free. Pro sells the presentation of that history. Team adds centralised licence management.

Either, and both unlock the same Pro on every platform. A subscription is $5.99 a month or $49 a year, with a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel any time: Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. The one-off is a single payment that never expires. If a subscription ends, Pro switches off and nothing is taken from you: your notes, your version history and restoring from it stay free, and anything you encrypted stays readable. Major versions (v2+) are an optional upgrade at 50% of list for the one-off.
Your prompts go to your provider on your credential. We never see them or bill you for them. Works with local models too.
Your files are plain markdown and your history is a standard git repository. Both outlive us.
